I've been to FiftyOne OC, a Modern Dim Sum restaurant in Orange County, several times and it never disappoints! This place is formerly known as "Ooak". I have no idea what the former name means, but the new name "FiftyOne" is definitely easier to say.
The restaurant serves dim sum, but not just any ordinary dim sum, they serve giant sized versions!
Okay okay...they aren't exactly "giant" but they are definitely double the size compared to dim sum from other restaurants. The dim sum here is big and juicy and worth it, especially during their happy hour!
Their dim sum is 50% off! HALF OFF! WOW! It's seriously a great deal and I am glad they still have this promotion!

Here is what I recommend:
- fried hargow
- (wow these like garlic tempura flakes on top or something. This is so good!)
- lobster dumpling
- the lobster pieces are actual lobster and so big and good!
- xiao long bao
- 6 pieces for only $3 (happy hour price) is an amazing deal!
- shrimp xiu mai with pork
- uni xiu mai with pork
- truffle xiu mai with pork
personally, I didn't think the xiu mai (with chicken base) was any good compared to the pork version.
