is an event that showcases eateries and breweries in the Surf City. Guests can enjoy endless sips and eats from over 50 restaurants while at the same time, donating to the Children's Department of the HB Public Library with each ticket purchase!
ACTUALLY WORTH
I've been to the event once last year in 2017 and had a blast. I didn't know what to expect and thought, this event better be worth it for $70! And it actually was! There was so much food that I felt overwhelmed actually! This truly is a great event that would especially worth it for anyone that also loves alcohol.
I BECAME A WHALE, SERIOUSLY.
Anyway, back to how I was overwhelmed.... So all the food booths were under this huge tent and there were like 6 (?!) long aisles filled with alcohol and food. Outside the tent was even more food. Each restaurant gave huge sample portions which got me full fast! After about 4 - 5 places I was feeling already... How was I going to try 45 more spots!? OMG! Anyway I tried my best and ate as much as I could. I went home as a bloated whale. LOL
COUPONS & FREEBIES GALORE
Another reason to go aside from the basically AYCE event, doing good by donating to charity, and enjoying the performances, there are a lot of coupons and freebies at the event! Many of the booths had coupons that encouraged guests to come back to the actual restaurant! I took home a lot of coupons and got to try out some restaurants I've never tried before with Kevin. One example is Luna Grill, which I got to try at the Bella Terra location, and it was delicious and worth with the FREE MEAL without any purchase. OMG! I also got a bunch of coupons from Ritters SKC in downtown Huntington Beach! That place is seriously one of my fave seafood cajun restaurants because it is consistently good every time at every location.
