Probably one of the most exciting things to happen in boba history is that one of my favorite shops is opening a store in Westminster: MILK BOX! No more driving miles away to get to the Tustin location or the even more south, Mission Viejo location.

The Westminster City location is currently having a sort of secret soft opening from 12 - 6 pm only until Sunday, July 30. If you happen to be in the area around Brookhurst St and McFadden Ave! Make a stop by! It's located across from the Chase Bank / Tebo Tebo plaza!
And it has a drive-thru! But that isn't in operation yet. Grand opening details TBA soon!

MEET CHRIS, FROM MILK BOX.
When I visited during it's exclusive soft opening hours, I was greeted by a friendly smile. It was a staff member named Chris! Even though I've been to Milk Box before, I somehow didn't realize you can customize your drink order with sweetness levels and tea levels. Chris was kind enough to explain everything thoroughly and assure me that if I wanted to customize those levels, he would try his best. And if I didn't like it? He would be more than happy to make another one!

For their current soft opening hours, only a part of their menu is available:
- black tea
- jasmine tea
- earl grey lavender
- peach oolong
- matcha
They are not officially opened yet and have a few things to prepare and finish up. For an example, they don't officially have their signage up yet! Instead, it's a small banner on the roof which sorta made it hard to find at first haha.
I also ordered a matcha milk tea drink! I got it less sweetened and omg, my life is changed. This tastes better with less sugar! Yay!
IF YOU LOVE TEA LIKE ME:
- Order the matcha with less sweetened
- Order the earl grey lavender with a bit less milk.
Parking: This new Westminster location has a bit of awkward parking where you might end up blocking another car to park. Hopefully it all works out later though!
