WE FINALLY TRIED THE NEW SPLIT CUPS FROM SNOW MONSTER!

NOT GONNA LIE... BUT DRINKING A MIX OF THAI TEA + JASMINE TEA + MATCHA WAS ACTUALLY... NOT BAD AT ALL. NOT BAD AT ALL...

I use Instagram quite religiously. As you may have already known. And once I saw this update from Snow Monster announcing that the split cups are available starting at 6pm only at the Anaheim Packing House location I just had to try it!

Line was quite insane. Got there a bit past 6pm and it was around a 20 minute wait just to order! Probably around 5 more minutes to actually get the drink. Not so bad, but another friend of mine went at night and waited around an hour to get these split cups. An hour...

So this new cup is quite innovative. Like...if you can't decide on two drinks, you can just get both! Why did no one do this before?! Unfortunately, these split cups actually give you less quantity then you would get if it was a regular cup. But you're paying more for the options, I guess.

To be able to choose two different drinks cost 75 cents extra. Yes. Just for the split cup, you will need to pay $.75 more. The price of the drink itself is split in half though. Here is what my receipt looked like:

Split Cup Total ($5. 13)

1st: Matcha Milk Latte ($2.16)  ---------- (Normal price is $4)

2nd: Thai Tea ($2.16)  ---------- (Normal price is $4)

Add Split cup + $.75

When I did the math the cup actually was $.81 extra... maybe tax?

Well, I don't remember the original prices exactly but I hope the breakdown of my receipt helps you!

The cup itself is a very sturdy plastic. Your drinks will mix with each other if you squeeze the cup which makes the drinks spill over. Be careful!

Overall, I think since Snow Monster has a limited selection of drinks anyway, I rarely crave two different drinks. So to get more bang for my buck, I'd get the Matcha or Thai in a regular sized [no split] cup. 

But for a bit extra, the split cups is totally cool especially if you want two different drinks!

Oh and I also think the split cups are especially great if you have never been to Snow Monster before and wanna try multiple drinks!
