THE MR. BEAN MASCOT IS SO KAWAII. THE PLUSHIES ARE SUPER CUTE. I WANT TO COLLECT THEM...

A good online friend of mine from Instagram who is also a food enthusiast recommended this place in Singapore. So of course I nagged Sengkwann to take me here. It's called Mr. Bean because it specializes in Soybean related products! I went to the one located at Clementi Mall and it's hard to miss the cool machine you see that makes the pancakes once you find the shop.

I didn't get a chance to try the Soymilk Soft Serve which was what my friend recommended. Eventually, I did try it at Shibuya Station (there's a Mr. Bean in Japan!?) and it was damn good. It tastes soooo good and has a very strong Soymilk flavor to it! Yay! Because I love love love Soymilk!

What I did get to try in Singapore was the awesome HOT AND FRESH PANCAKES! Sengkwann and I got the Tuna and Hazelnut. Both were bomblicious and so fresh. I love how freaking soft the bread was and how it was basically being made in front of your eyes. The machine reminded me of those Deli Manjoo machines where they make the fresh custard corn looking pancake at Lee's Sandwiches (high five if y'all love those too). I really liked the nuts in the Hazelnut one! It was creamy and nutty and fresh and soft and omg, I wish Sengkwann took me back to Mr. Bean again. We only went here once... The savory Tuna pancake was better than I expected. Both for $3 USD is such a steal. It's so cheap it might as well be free. This is great for breakfast in my opinion!

Mr. Bean also serves Singaporean dessert like Chendol and Grass Jelly drinks/jello and yummy Soymilk Soft Serve Ice Cream! They have drinks too like Vietnamese Coffee (what...? Viet Coffee in Singapore?!) and Tapioca Drinks (Boba / Bubble Tea). I tried both the Vietnamese Coffee and Milk Tea with Boba and I can honestly say... you get what you pay for. It is cheap after all. The Vietnamese Coffee is not so bad but the Milk Tea with boba... the boba... was not that soft.
Save your tastesbuds and go to Gongcha or Koi Cafe in Singapore!

OVERALL, I WANNA GO HERE AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. IT'S SO CHEAP! THUMBS UP FOR THOSE PANCAKES. It's bomb in Japan too (post about Japanese Mr. Bean coming soon!) I wish there was one of these in California T___T
