My friend Ben and I went on an LA food adventure a few months ago when he visited California. Food adventures definitely need to include dessert, and what better way to end dinner than with alcoholic infused ice cream!?
I've been wanting to try this place out but was a bit reluctant because there is alcohol infused into the ice cream concoctions. I personally do not drink any alcohol but the idea of alcoholic ice cream still interested me. When we got there, Ben and I were guided by a very pleasant smiley scooper by the name of Julia! She explained about the ice cream flavors to us and gave us whatever sample we desired. I tried some alcoholic infused ones and they were aiiiiiight. I "tasted" the alcohol probably because I was expecting it. But, actually, Julia informed us that we can't get drunk off the ice cream. It's just alcohol-infused but the part that gives u the high is not part of the ice cream (or something like that because I don't remember the exact words she said). I'm sure if I had tasted some samples with a different mindset they would have tasted better...maybe? Anyways, there were only a few alcoholic ice creams. Most of the flavors were normal (without alcohol) and were freakin' delicious! Why have I never tried this place?! It is totally bomb dot com y'all! They have super super unique flavors balsamic fig & mascarpone, pistachio truffle (which this lady was totally raving about! She said she always buys pints of it!), horchata, and green tea! And not only are the ice cream flavors delicious and unique, even the cookies are awesome too. They are super soft and chewy like how a cookie should be and goes great as an ice cream cookie sandwich! I ordered the s'mores cookie and red velvet cookie ice cream sandwich with green tea ice cream and horchata ice cream (yes, you can choose 2 flavors for your ice cream sandwich and 2 different cookies too!. I would definitely come visit this place again!

- you can choose 2 diff cookies and 2 diff ice cream flavors for your sandwich!
- very worth it! so yummy!
