YOU DON'T WANNA ADD TOO MUCH MILK! IT'S BETTER THICKKKKKKK. (;
SORRY FOR THE BLURRY PIC! YOU SHOULD ADD ABOUT 1.5 TEASPOONS
ADD 1 BANANA !
I LOVE MATCHA AND I LOVE BANANAS. AS A SMOOTHIE, EVEN BETTER! I VISITED CHRISTINA'S HOUSE AND WE BONDED WHILE MAKING SOME DELICIOUS HEALTHY SMOOTHIES!
HOW TO MAKE EASY PEASY MATCHA GREEN TEA + BANANA SMOOTHIE RECIPE BELOW:
ITEMS AND INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR 1 SERVING:
- blender
- milk (or soymilk, or green tea soymilk)
- ice
- honey (or sugar) - optional
- 1 banana
- 1.5 teaspoons pure matcha powder
- Christina and I used the Maeda brand Matcha Green Tea Powder Culinary Use and it is perfect. Best pure matcha we could find! You can buy it at your local H-Mart or Japanese Supermarkets
DIRECTIONS:
- pour a bit of milk into your blender
- I honestly don't know how many ounces but you can refer to the photo!
- you don't wanna add too much milk because you want it to be thick
- pour a little bit of ice
- drop a banana in
- sprinkle 1.5 teaspoons
- (this will give it a noticeable matcha taste. If you want less, just add 1 teaspoon)
- blend until smooth
- pour it into your favorite cup and drink away!
- optional: if you like it sweeter, feel free to add some honey or some sugar! I personally only added a teeny bit of honey. It was not too sweet but not too bitter at the same time. Christina however poured in a looooot of honeyyyy... xD
Thanks Christina for making me a yummy drink! ^___^
