I AM VERY IMPRESSED BY THE LATTE ART! IT WAS THE PERFECT AMOUNT OF FOAM, ABSENT OF BUBBLES, & THE ROSETTA LEAF WAS JUST A PIECE OF ART. THE BARISTA IS A TRAINEE HERE, BUT HIS LATTE ART GAME IS ON POINT! HE ALSO USED TO TRAIN AT KEAN COFFEE TOO!
This place is actually pretty small but COZY. The details of the decor is pretty cool as well. There is this big painting of an outdoor scenery with a cafe on the wall- Cafe Caldo of course! The chairs are shaped like unicycles so it looks like you're riding on a unicycle! How cool is that! It's these little details that make me love love unique cafes. There is a nob on the wall and a small light bulb above each table. That nob is used to adjust the brightness of the light bulb. I felt like I was in my own private room with my beloved ^__^
The latte itself tasted wonderful. I don't like coffee actually but so I got a flavored latte to dilute the taste of the espresso. I got the white chocolate with a hint of nutella. It was a 12oz with 2 shots of espresso. The only disappointing factor I can think of is that they use Torani syrup and I prefer Ghiradhelli...
This place is a cute place to stop by on the way to Huntington Beach!
