THE BEST DESSERTS ARE MADE BY MY MOM IN A FAMOUS BAKERY KNOWN AS MY KITCHEN ^___^

I really wanted to take photos of my mom crushing the pandan leaves, blending them with some water, and then getting the juice from the leaf by straining it. However, she's just too fast and I was already too late. Oh well! Next time I am going to try to do it. The leaf smells wonderful and the color of the juice was a dark green. The taste of the juice was not sweet at all...but once mixed with the rice it was perfect.

Xoi (pronounced Soy) Gap (pronounced ghup) La Dua (la yua) is one of my favorite Vietnamese desserts!

I've been eating / drinking so many "green" things lately!
