So I went to visit my friend Duc at his workplace at Irvine Spectrum and suggested to eat at THE MELT during his lunch break. I have been here only once before and had a yummy enough lunch to wanna go here again! And also, I LOVE CHEESE!!
This store is very clean and the service is friendly and fast. Today, I ordered the Egg-In-A-Waffle and it was yummy!! It's basically Egg grilled on the outside of a Grilled Cheese Waffle Sandwich! They give you maple syrup too so it was a yummy combo of sweet and salty. Whatever Duc got looked delish as well!
The price in my opinion is not too bad here and the food won't disappoint you either! At least not for my 2nd time or 1st time!
I also like the Italian Job with Turkey slices (I got that on my first visit). The bread is garlic-y and grilled to perfection.
If you're not into oily food though, this place is probably not the best choice. BUT, if YOU LOVE GRILLED CHEESE, I LOOOVE this place better than the Grilled Cheese Truck (besides Food trucks are just too overrated and expensive and overpriced)
