FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: MILD TO SPICIEST
I was just here a few hours ago before they were about to close! They close at 11pm and apparently it was their happy hour! For happy hour, they have beer specials and also $1 off every taco.
Kevin and I originally were going to go to Umami Burger at THE CAMP but Taco Asylum caught our fascination too much when we entered the area. At first, I thought this place was a bit pricey...but then I looked at the description of their menu items a bit more closely and realized why the prices were a bit expensive. THEY OFFER VERY INTERESTING MEAT ! RABBIT? DUCK? WHAT?
We ordered :
- the BBQ beef tongue taco - delicious!
- RABBIT taco - tastes like chicken!
- Pork Belly taco - mmm crispy goodness!
- Short Rib taco - wow, such tender meat!
The total came to about $24. This place is not budget friendly but it is great for those who are willing to eat out of their comfort zone and try new foods. This is the go-to place for interesting and creative tacos with a variety of meat to choose from. I love how THE CAMP has so many interesting restaurants and I'm glad I chose this spot for my late dinner!
