LUNCH DATING WITH CORNELIA!
IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN HERE, THEN YOUR TASTEBUDS ARE MISSING OUT ON LIFE.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING AND THE PRICING IS NOT EXPENSIVE! IT'S VERY DECENTLY PRICED AND THE PORTIONS ARE REASONABLE TOO! ESPECIALLY THAT BIBIMBAP. DAMNNN. IT'S HUGE! MY FRIEND COULDN'T EVEN FINISH IT!
I have been wanting to try out this place ever since it opened. It is a Korean-Mexican fusion restaurant that offers a variety of Korean dishes with a Mexican twist. Upon entering the restaurant, I could feel the vibe of the place screaming cool, new, & hip. This place is definitely unique! The waitress was friendly, the service was quick and attentive, and the place was very clean! I honestly couldn't choose what to order but decided to go with the spicy pork tacos because... well .. I've been having a taco week this week! My friend went with the Bibimbap because she's been craving Korean food and bibimbap is a Korean classic! We also each ordered the Watermelon Mint Limeade and we were totally surprised by how gigantic the drink was. DANG. And it was extreeeeeemely fresh and refreshing to drink.
Food Recap:
- Spicy Pork Tacos were definitely a hit! It was 3 tacos for about $7 and the sauces that came with it complimented the entire taco very well. I also added some Tapatio for an extra spicy kick but honestly it doesn't need any. It's already great as is.
- The Watermelon Mint Limeade is a must-order (only $3.50). Wow. Super refreshing and huuuuuuuge! I'll definitely order it again! It reminds me of the Strawberry Basil Lemonade from Mick's Karma Bar (Burger Joint in Irvine) but instead is with Mint leaves and Watermelon and much more refreshing.
- The Bibimbap was beautiful (Around $7)! And tasted delicious according to my friend Cornelia as well! According to her, she said it even looked better than the bibimbap she's had in Korea. Daaamn. Good Job Urban Seoul! There were also two options for the rice: white rice or purple rice. My friend got the purple rice ( looks like the typical Korean rice that is purple-y colored and chewy) and loved it.
Bottom line? I AM DEFINITELY GOING TO VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN. ESPECIALLY ON A TUESDAY BECAUSE ITS $1 OFF TACOS ON TACO TUESDAY. THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY WORTH YOUR TIME & STOMACH & THE HYPE!
