YUMMY MACARONS FOR $1.95 EACH!

RED VELVET, CHOCOLATE THAI TEA, AND COOKIES & CREAM MACARONS!

So a few days ago Kev and I were craving some AYCE KBBQ! Coming from OCC, we decided that Gen BBQ would be the most convenient place to go and it only took 11 minutes to drive there!

When we got there I was disappointed to see a line of people waiting, especially since we were hungry bears! We were told that we would have to wait "30-40 minutes maybe more maybe less" ... what!!?? I suggested to kill some time by getting some Macarons from Fusion Tea Bar in the same plaza!

I'm glad I did because these macarons SURPRISED ME! The store was closing in 5 minutes but they were all very friendly and gave wonderful customer service. I remember coming here before when they first opened and tried one of their drinks. It was a che thai type of drink but I didn't like it... I also remember somehow that their macarons were smaller before.... But I love big so this was a good change for me! Hah! They had ferrero rocher, matcha green tea, red velvet, cookies and cream, and chocolate thai tea macarons available.

Here's a summary of what Kev and I got! We ended up walking back to Gen BBQ and eating them while waiting.

1. Red Velvet Macaron - pretty normal and nothing special
2. Chocolate Thai Tea - what a kick of flavor! I could really taste the thai tea and the chocolate cream was great
3. Cookies and Cream - this was flavorful too and did not disappoint

• Overall, all the macarons were big and had a nice soft texture. The cream filling was not disappointing. The price was $1.95 per macaron but honestly I think it is worth the price because these macarons were BIG!
