BANH TRANG TRON is a popular type of Vietnamese street food. I had this for the first time a few years ago! I only had it that one time and have been wanting to eat it again recently when I remembered about it! I went to my cousin's house yesterday, but asked in advance, if my cousin could make this for me! In the end, it wasn't my cousin that made it...but my aunt. How nice of her haha.
Anyways, it's basically the rice paper that you use to roll spring rolls with. However, instead of doing that, you cut it into strips and mix it with whatever you want! The one my aunt made was mixed with pork grinds, peanuts, green onion, fried onions, sliced mangos, basil leaves, and quail eggs! I like it extra spicy so she put some chilis in there too.
Aside from that, my aunt cooked a feast for the family to eat hence the photo of the shrimp above. I also freeloaded all of their mochi ice cream ^___^ Cousin<3 yannoe
