This is my 2nd time at the East Borough restaurant at The Camp. This place is just too busy so it was super difficult to find a seat this time. Kev and I had to find a seat elsewhere and unfortunately it was by the bathroom so some smelly whiffs was blown our way... T___T
Besides the bad seating, the food was bomb.
The pho baguette had the essential ingredients in pho (cilantro, onions, the beef, etc.) but in a baguette instead. The order also comes with the pho broth that you can dip baguette into or just drink on its own. I preferred to drink on its own but dipping the baguette in was yummy as well. The drinks were refreshing but overall they were disappointing to me.
The Jasmine Lime Ice Tea was good and not bitter or anything but it had a strange citrusy after taste.
The Soda Xi Muoi (Plum Soda), just like how I mentioned in my previous post about this place, was still a disappointment. It is more like carbonated lemonade instead of plum soda. The plum was in the drink but definitely did not add any flavor.
This place is a bit pricey because it's a Vietnamese place catered to non-Vietnamese customers (in my opinion) and so I can't say the food itself has much authenticity in flavor and taste. But, the pho baguette though is what will make me come back to this place!
P.S. This place is crowded during lunchtime which means that you might not find a seat and might not find parking either. But! There is free valet parking until 2pm ^__^
