TRICK YOUR FRIENDS BY EATING A PLANT (& THE DIRT TOO) !

 DELICIOUS EDIBLE "DIRT"

I FROZE MINE TO EAT THEM LATER! IT WAS SUPER YUMMY AFTER I FROZE IT BECAUSE IN THE BEGINNING IT WAS MELTING A BIT.

OKAY. SO WHAT IS THIS?!

This is potted ice cream. ICE CREAM THAT IS MADE TO LOOK LIKE A PLANT!

I was inspired by the POTTED MILK TEA BOBA sold at Meow Meow Cafe in West Covina and also the POTTED ICE CREAM that was being sold at the OC NIGHT MARKET. I definitely don't wanna drive all the way down to West Covina for a simple milk tea with Oreos sprinkled on top. Neither did I want to wait in the exhausting long line at the POTTED ICE CREAM booth at the OC NIGHT MARKET for a mere pot of vanilla ice cream with crushed oreos on top. Instead, I thought to myself, why not just make it myself for fun?!

That is exactly what I did on a Sunday Evening.

I didn't want to make it exactly like the Potted Ice Cream booth at the OC NIGHT MARKET by putting it in a cliche brown plant plot. Instead, I wanted it to be in a super super kawaii cute mug! So, I went to DAISO and bought some cute mugs! I also made a trip to the Asian supermarket to buy some Thai Tea Ice Cream (one of my faaaves) and also went to Target to buy a pack or Oreos.

At home, I prepared for my plant making operation! I twisted the oreos apart and threw away the creme filling. I then crushed the Oreos into the smallest pieces possible to make it resemble dirt as closely as possible. I scooped out enough Thai Tea Ice Cream to fill the mugs that I bought and topped them off with the Oreo crumbles. I scavenged my refrigerator for any plant-like thing I could find. Luckily, I had a gigantic bag of Rau Muong (Water Spinach) and broke up some pieces to put on top of my Oreo crumbles! VOILA! It looks exactly like a plant! My potted plants modeled for me as I took some photos of it. ^__^

Remember to freeze! I froze my "plants" and then ate them the next day (today). The Thai Tea Ice Cream is so goshdarnit flavorful and super orange and super milky/creamy at the same time. WHOA. Before I ate it though, I showed my cute edible ice cream plants to my family. They totally got tricked! They really thought it was a plant and thought it was a neat idea to make a potted ice cream!
